Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 18, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.lincolnbins.com (the “Site”) and the curbside trash-can cleaning services provided by Lincoln Bins LLC, doing business as Lincoln Bins (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, booking a clean, requesting a quote, or receiving a service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

We clean, sanitize, and deodorize residential trash and recycling bins at the curb in Lincoln, Nebraska and surrounding communities. We come on your trash day, right after the truck has emptied your cans, and clean them on the spot using hot water (around 200°F) that kills 99.9% of germs. The wastewater is captured and disposed of properly — never into the storm drain. You never have to lift a finger or touch a dirty can.

We are a curbside (mobile) service and do not operate a public storefront. Service is performed on the curb at the address you provide, where your bins are set out for collection.

2. Plans, deposit, and prices

You choose how many bins you want cleaned and how often: a one-time clean, a quarterly plan, or a monthly plan. Prices shown on the Site apply to standard residential bins in our service area and may exclude applicable sales tax and optional add-ons.

  • $1 deposit to book. Booking online requires a $1 deposit, processed by our payment provider. This confirms your spot and is applied toward your service.
  • Balance after the service. The remaining balance for the clean is charged after we complete the job, once your before-and-after photo confirms the work was done.
  • 3+ bins and custom requests. Larger orders, extra bins, commercial cans, or unusually dirty bins may require a custom quote. The final price is based on the quote, booking, or written confirmation for your service.

3. Recurring plans — no contract

Quarterly and monthly plans are no-contract. You can pause, change, or cancel anytime, with no cancellation fee. Cancel before your next scheduled clean and you will not be charged for it; if a clean has already been completed, that service is still due.

For recurring plans, you authorize us to charge your saved payment method the plan price for each completed clean until you cancel. We will tell you which trash day each clean is tied to.

4. Scheduling and trash day

  • Bookings submitted through the Site are requests until we accept and confirm them by text, email, or another written message.
  • We clean on your trash day, after collection. Because we follow the collection route, we give arrival windows rather than exact times, and we may shift the window based on the truck’s schedule.
  • You can reschedule or cancel a confirmed clean at no cost up to 24 hours before your scheduled trash day, unless your confirmation states otherwise.
  • Severe weather, frozen conditions, route delays, equipment issues, or holiday collection changes may require us to reschedule. We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible if that happens.

5. Service area

We serve addresses within roughly a 30-minute drive of our route origin in Lincoln, Nebraska. If your address falls outside that area, we may decline the booking or offer a custom arrangement. We confirm the service area using mapping tools and the address you provide, so please make sure it is accurate.

6. Access to your bins

  • Set your bins out at the curb on your scheduled trash day, the same way you would for collection, with the lids closed and the cans empty after pickup.
  • We need clear, safe access to the cans on the curb or driveway edge. If the bins are still full, blocked, behind a locked gate, buried in snow, or otherwise inaccessible when we arrive, we may be unable to clean them.
  • Missed cleans caused by bins we could not reach or that were not set out are treated as completed for billing purposes, since we made the trip, unless you contact us in advance to reschedule.
  • Keep pets, children, and bystanders away from the work area while our equipment, hoses, and hot water are in use.

7. Cleaning limits and bin condition

We use professional equipment, hot water, and reasonable care, but cleaning cannot make every bin look new. Results depend on the bin’s age, material, prior care, and the type of buildup present.

  • Deep stains, dye, paint, melted or baked-on residue, permanent odors, cracks, warping, sun damage, and heavy wear may not fully come out and are not defects in our work.
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, brittle plastic, broken lids or wheels, missing parts, or cans that were already failing before service.
  • If a bin contains hazardous material, sharp objects, biohazards, pests, or anything unsafe, or if the bin is too damaged to clean safely, we may decline, stop, or modify the service.

8. Wastewater handling

We capture the wastewater produced while cleaning your bins and dispose of it properly in accordance with applicable rules. We do not release wastewater into the storm drain, gutter, or street. By booking, you authorize us to perform the clean on the curb at your address using this process.

9. Payment

The $1 deposit is charged when you book. The balance for each clean is charged after the service is complete, using the payment method on file. You are responsible for the agreed service price, approved add-ons, and applicable sales tax. If a charge fails or payment is not made when due, we may pause future cleans, send reminders, recover reasonable collection costs where allowed, and pursue any remedies available under Nebraska law.

10. Satisfaction

We stand behind our work. If something looks off after a clean, contact us within 48 hours and we will look into it. If the issue is caused by our work and falls within the booked service, we may re-clean the affected bin at no additional charge.

This promise does not cover permanent stains, odors, or damage that existed before service, conditions that could not be cleaned safely, or issues reported after 48 hours.

11. Photos and media

We take before-and-after photos of your bins at the curb to document each clean and text them to you. With your permission, we may use before-and-after photos or videos of our work for marketing, portfolio, and training purposes. We will not intentionally publish your house number, address, or identifying personal information without your consent.

12. Communications

By booking, requesting a quote, or contacting us, you authorize us to contact you about your service by phone, text message, and email. Message and data rates may apply. Service messages may include booking confirmations, trash-day reminders, your before-and-after photo, receipts, and service-related questions. If you no longer want non-essential messages, follow the opt-out instructions in the message or contact us directly.

13. Site use and intellectual property

The Site, including its text, images, layout, graphics, logos, service descriptions, and other content, is owned by us or used with permission. You may use the Site for personal, lawful purposes related to learning about, requesting, or booking our services. You may not interfere with the Site, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or copy content at scale, submit false information, or use the Site for unlawful or harmful purposes.

The Site relies on third-party services for booking, payments, maps, and analytics. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for third-party platforms we do not control.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nebraska law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Site, a booking, or a service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific clean giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits or replacement costs, except where such limits are not allowed by law.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms, the Site, a booking, or a service will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Lancaster County, Nebraska, unless a different venue is required by applicable law.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
